There is so much to do that it is hard to choose.

Arundel is 2 miles away & full of interesting shops, the Cathedral, Castle & Wildlife & Wetlands Centre, as well as the Arundel Festival in late August & cricket in the stunning Cricket Ground in June & July.

If you prefer sea, the beach in 3 miles South & further on, the Bird Reserve at Pagham Harbour.

Chichester, another interesting old city, is 12 miles West with its beautiful Cathedral where Jocelyne is a guide.

Stately homes within easy reach are Parham, Uppark & Petworth, and gardens include Denmans & West Dean.

Clive is a steward at the Tangmere Aviation Museum.

And that is before we even start on the walks..........!

Nitty-gritty! A bus passes the house; beaches are Blue Flag, & we are on the edge of the South Downs National Park.
